So that nature
remains valuable.

The forest's contribution to climate protection and man's contribution in the ecosystem deserve appropriate recognition. With the forest climate standard, eva is creating a quality standard that enables forest forest owners receive financial support from private sources, to establish climate-friendly forests.

The application of the standard creates tradable certificates for the voluntary market. Companies can thus actively contribute to actively contribute to tackling climate change: for the preservation of forests in the face of climate change.

The forest climate standard

eva is using internationally experienced experts to develop a scientifically sound standard for Germany that is based on UN guidelines and takes into account the regional requirements for a sustainable forest. Simple application, digital processes and a scalable design save users time and money compared to other standards.

More about the forest climate standard

Developing climate protection projects

The forest climate standard with the forest reconstruction method is suitable for farms that have been reforesting calamity areas since September 2021 or are planning to do so. Farms with areas of pure stands can use the forest conversion method to convert them into structurally diverse mixed forests.
